Un grupo que se forma en el 2009 pero que no saca su primer album hasta el 2018 te da mucho que pensar, y es que este cuarteto, desde que se formaron y en 9 años solo habían sacado dos demos, las cuales habían pasado un poco desapercibidas en la escena Death Metal mundial. Pues bueno, no se que es lo que ocurrió a partir de 2018 que el grupo se pone las pilas, y en cuatro años ha sacado todo lo que no sacó casi en diez. Y menos mal, porque la producción musical que nos estábamos perdiendo con este grupo era de aupa. 
Lo que aquí presentamos es su segundo album. Ocho auténticas cuchilladas directamente a la yugular que a los amantes del Death Metal mas pesado y podrido dejará con la boca abierta. Death Metal que cabalga entre el de EEUU (Autopsy) y Europa (Asphyx o Bolt Thrower) . Tremendamente pesado en ocasiones, y brutal y machacante en otras. Los ocho temas que aquí se presentan hacen que te levantes de la silla si estás sentado, y que pongas el vinilo mas de 4 veces en el día para poder aprovechar cada riff que aquí se muestra.
Sabemos de la oleada de grupos de estilo similares que han salido en los últimos años de tierras americanas ( Necrot, Tomb Mold, Mortiferum, etc..), todos ellos con una calidad exquisita y con discos que pueden estar en el top 10 de cualquier oyente, pero estos Mortuous y concretamente este "Upon Desolation" tiene lo mejor del Death Metal de los dos continentes. Por momentos suena podrido y putrefacto en su vertiente americana, y a ratos pesado y atmosférico para recordar los mejores momentos del Death Metal Europeo. 
Grupos de Death Metal hay muchos, y discos salen todos los meses decenas, pero estos Mortuous no son uno más, este grupo es para tenerlo en cuenta y guardar su material como oro en paño. Avisados estáis!!!

Parece que fue ayer cuando allá por el 1993 en uno de los fanzines nacionales que ahora no puedo ver en pie vi reseñada su demo "Unborn Woods in Doom". Era tan buena la crítica que no tardé ni una hora en mandarle dinero camuflado en sobre para hacerme con semejante maravilla. Era tremendamente llamativo que un grupo de Noruega y en aquel momento no practicara Black Metal, ya solo por eso merecía la pena arriesgarse.

Aquel grupo me atrapó desde la primera escucha. La oscuridad y el muro sónico que era capaz de desplegar este cuarteto de vikingos no era ni normal, tan solo alcance de algunos grupos del momento con ya algunos discos a la espalda, y estos Molested solo tenían dos demos. Sabía que lo que venía prometía. Dos años mas tarde sacaron su album completo al que estuve esperando día a día, catálogo tras catálogo, hasta que Effigy Rec. lo editó. Con un sonido un poco "mejorado" con respecto a la última demo , este "Blod-Draum" cumplió todas las expectativas que tenía hacia el. 

En ningún momento se había alejado de ese sonido oscuro, rápido e intenso que ya nos mostraron en las anteriores ediciones, si bien ahora eran mas oscuros y la pantalla sónica era aún mayor si cabe... Algunos lo comparaban con unos Incantation con un estilo más europeo o nórdico, pero yo creo que Molested era otra cosa, es un Death Metal muy oscuro, intenso y con una atmosfera que hasta ahora pocos grupos han sabido crear. Y es que yo creo que supieron coger lo mejor de la esencia de las bandas mas oscuras de ese país, para introducirlo en un Death Metal muy rápido y la vez Brutal.

Lo siguiente que la banda editó fue el MCD "Stormvold", también por el mismo sello y siguiendo la línea del album completo. Es el material que aquí anunciamos y que ahora, el genial sello "The Crypt" reedita junto a sus dos únicas demos en formato 2LP. Un material que si, probablemente no tuvieras porque no lo pudiste pillar en los 90, ahora tienes la oportunidad de adquirir.

26 - 12- 2012 - First Steps

We could start the first news of this new label releasing the typical talking commercial roll to try to sell what will be the image of this new journey, but neither is our intention to bore you or make this platform a business referral. All we have proposed with this label is to offer in the best  way the real sense of Death Metal and Black Metal in their most obscure way, just that.

We will try to let you know the music of bands in what we trust and think that all people will talk about .

Another aspect that we want to stop and let you know, is that Necromancy Rec. only released in vinyl format. Whether due to the appreciation we have for this support during the passing years, or little validity which today gives the CD, we have decided to take all of our issues in this way.
We wait your good answer through this new path. In the following days we’ll put more news about all activities of the label.
